FIRE DEPARTMENT

    The Waterford Township Department consists of community volunteers who give their time and lives to help the residents of the township.

    The department consists of two stations:

• Station 2

  • 2208 Atco Avenue.

• Station 3

  • Jackson Road.

    The department has fourteen pieces of equipment and is equipped to handle heavy rescue, vehicle extrication, brush fires, marine incidents, and hazardous materials.

RESCUE SERVICES

    The Atco Emergency Medical Services unit consists of volunteers who serve the public twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred sixty-five days a year.  These dedicated community members are trained in the latest lifesaving techniques and risk their health and safety on each and every call.

    The Atco EMS was founded in 1940 and continues today as one of the most efficient EMS units in the state.
